Dear Brothers and Sisters: Today
February 7 was held in Beirut, Lebanon, under the General Council of the World Federation of Democratic Youth in the presence of 46 organizations from all regions of the world, decided to approve the holding of the next XVII World Festival of Youth and Students South Africa, to be held in December 2010, maintaining its imperialist character, anti-fascist and anti-colonialist, to support the South African people's historic struggle against apartheid led by Nelson Mandela and the efforts made in building a new society multinational, multicultural, with greater justice and rights for all citizens.
The coalition celebrated this important decision, for the first time will hold an event of this magnitude, organized by the global anti-imperialist and progressive youth in sub-Saharan Africa, which is a sign that the movement continues to strengthen Festivals worldwide and ensures the continuity of these anti-imperialist youth events. It is envisaged that as part of the preparation of this gathering was conducted 4 international preparatory meetings in all regions of the world.
