with great sense of history, revolutionary courage and sensitivity, the FARC-EP have rescued the combat sword of Simon Bolivar and immediately after announcing the world have decided to move this important symbol of independence nuestraPrimera peoples in struggle, and revolutionary youth movement Continental Bolivarian (MCB). The MCB, immersed in the beautiful rebellious social and patriotic for true democracy, waving proudly the banner of the liberation of the Patria Grande and socialism, received with special joy this good news, this wonderful gesture of heroic Colombian insurgency and excitement awaits the moment of realization of this important decision.
There really is no better recipient for the gun battle of Simón Bolívar that multiplication in the worthy hands of the peoples of Latin-Caribbean committed today to complete his extraordinary work of emancipation.
We are determined to contribute to heart and soul to that commitment historical
accepted this challenge in this "hour of the furnaces", in which the imperial colossus begins its counterattack against the wave of change displayed at the end of the twentieth century and early twenty-first determination to win.
