What Does The Thumb And Pinky Sign Mean Jets?

For the UBA student initiative in favor of the Marriage Act same sex. Since the dossier went

The last

regular meeting of the Council of the UBA, the Directors by a majority of the faculty student presented a project for the highest governing body of the UBA is positioned for the next law to be treated in the Senate, which referred to civil marriage between same sex. After discussion, it was approved by majority vote.

understand that it is very important that the UBA has been positioned in favor of this legislation, so many debates in the society and disturb the most conservative sectors of the same. Since our space (La Mella, Rebellion, Plan B, a single cry, Bad Education and Libertarian Socialism) as a student majority on the Board and chair of the FUBA, we believe that our university has to intervene increasingly in such public debates, providing a critical, democratic and based on the needs and interests of our people.

While the Civil Marriage Act between persons of same sex is a breakthrough, we know that legislation in itself does not change the discriminatory social relations and not forget that this Act and the debate that is taking place, is only possible thanks to hundreds of social, political and human rights for years been taking this fight.

The project was approved despite the despicable vote against the vice dean of agriculture and with the abstention of Councillor for Minority Students (New Space = AFO = Strip Purple), who retired during the vote. In a university where democratization is an outstanding debt, approval of this project is another example that it never will be part of the agenda of those who today are the government in Buenos Aires. The student movement again shows that the defense of our University and the dispute over its direction, are important tasks of youth that is organized, who fights and advances.
